Composting toilets are provided, though their condition and odor receive mixed reviews, ranging from clean and tidy to smelly, especially in hot weather. A notable drawback is the complete lack of showers, which several visitors say limits the length of stay they would consider. The narrow single-track road leading to the farm can be challenging for motorhomes and at night. Some guests report noise from trail bikes nearby or from inconsiderate campers playing music past quiet hours.
