Villaggio Costa d'Argento
This campsite is conveniently located near the city center, within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and the beach. The staff is professional and helpful, even going so far as to retrieve a lost item and arrange its return to France. However, significant maintenance issues plague the site. The showers require tokens, but warm water is unavailable in both women's and men's facilities. Some shower cubicles do not lock properly. The swimming pool was empty and not ready for use. The site has many old caravans scattered around, detracting from its appeal. In 2025, the situation worsened: the campsite offers very limited and cramped tent pitches with barely enough space. Sanitary facilities are in poor condition, with broken cabins and cold water for dishwashing. Warm showers are available only at an additional cost and are unreliable. The site is extremely noisy, with loud music playing from morning until midnight. Parking for cars is charged separately and is located on an open lot away from the pitches. Despite the low price, overall quality is poor, and many guests choose to stay only one night. Maintenance is lacking, making the site unsuitable for extended stays. The nearby town is pleasant and deserves a better-equipped campsite. Guests consistently report dissatisfaction with the value for money. The campsite's cleanliness is a recurring issue across multiple years. The pool remains out of service, and the overall atmosphere is compromised by noise and disrepair.
