This campsite offers a mixed experience that has clearly declined between 2022 and 2023. In 2022, the site struggled with basic amenities: a single sanitary building meant a lengthy 300-meter walk for those at the far end, and only two water points served the entire campground. Electric hookups were insufficient, requiring a 25-meter CEE cable for those lucky enough to get a spot. Pitches felt cramped and bordered a residential area, leading to early morning noise from commuters. The sole highlight was proximity to Vejle, just 2 km away, making for a pleasant day out. However, poor value for money was flagged, with low ratings for quietness, toilets, water access, pitch size, and electric hookups. By 2023, new problems emerged. Cleanliness dropped, staff interactions became problematic—a family with two dogs for a dog exhibition was told only one pet was allowed, forcing the second to stay in a cold car. An unexpected 300-kroner fee for three nights surfaced, not mentioned at booking. Cabins were non-refundable, hot water limited to one person, and the kitchen lacked a microwave. WiFi was poor, and the site was not dog-friendly despite earlier being so. Overall, the experience is not recommended for pet owners with multiple animals, and the campsite fails to deliver adequate service or value.
