This campsite delivers an exceptionally clean and well-maintained experience, earning high marks across facilities, staff, and family amenities. The swimming pool stands out as a clean and refreshing centerpiece, complemented by a brilliant playground and go-kart hire that keep children happily occupied. Sanitary blocks, including showers and toilets, are spotless and cleaned multiple times daily, with both mixed and separate gender options available. Staff are repeatedly praised for their warm welcome, friendliness, and willingness to accommodate last-minute requests, even when the site appears full. Pitches are spacious and neat, with some offering hardstanding surfaces made of shells, and while they are close together, they still provide a good sense of privacy. The on-site restaurant serves reasonably priced meals with quality wine and beer, plus delicious ice cream for kids, though it is not open daily. Location is superb within walking distance of a nearby town with supermarkets and restaurants, and a short bike ride or drive to beautiful beaches and a country park. Free WiFi works well and is appreciated by guests. The entire site is beautifully landscaped with neat grass edges and flower pots, creating a cared-for and inviting atmosphere. It is notably quiet during off-peak periods but lively and very child-friendly during school holidays with organized animation games. An excellent waste disposal station is available for motorhomes, and the area is ideal for cycling with easy access to paths and mountain bike routes. A minor note is that mixed-gender toilets gave some parents pause about sending children alone, and a few additional sinks in wash areas would be welcome. Pet owners are provided with exercise areas and bags, though a minority fail to clean up after their dogs. Overall, this campsite is considered a gem, safe, and perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Guests consistently leave eager to return.
