This large, well-organized campsite near the beach offers spacious, shaded pitches and excellent access for caravans. Its proximity to the sea is a major draw, with a narrow but lengthy beach perfect for long walks, even with dogs. The on-site restaurant serves good-value pizzas that receive high marks, and there is a well-stocked camping shop and a charming beachside bar. Reception staff are generally friendly, professional, and efficient, with some speaking German. The campsite features a pleasant saltwater swimming pool, though it closes somewhat early and sun loungers require an additional fee. Cleanliness is praised overall, with clean facilities and a tidy environment throughout the site, although some bathrooms may lack toilet paper and toilet seats. Free Wi-Fi coverage extends across the site, which is appreciated by many visitors. The campsite is conveniently located for easy access to Lecce via a regional bus for just €1.50. However, noise can be a significant issue due to a disco on an adjacent site, with loud music playing from around 8 PM to 1 AM, making sleeping impossible. Accessibility is also a drawback, as late arrivals are not accommodated and cars are banned from moving after 20:30. Extra charges for sunbeds, beach loungers, and even the football field are seen as excessive. The surrounding area has limited attractions, so you will need to drive to find activities. Some visitors found the campsite unexpectedly closed despite appearing open online, leading to disappointment. The beach may not match photographs, with reports of black sand and debris including glass. The overall atmosphere is pleasant and well-equipped, catering to a comfortable stay, but the experience is likely more pleasant outside the main summer season.
