However, the surrounding area offers very little to do, so guests should plan off-site activities in advance. The site itself is quite small, creating an intimate atmosphere. For water sports and cycling enthusiasts, its location is well-suited for exploring. But be aware that some pitches are situated among seasonal permanent sites rather than dedicated touring sections, and one visitor found their booked waterside pitch overgrown with nettles. Parking in section A is challenging, requiring cars to be left in the main lot, and vehicles cannot access pitches until after 9:00 AM, creating a tight schedule with checkout at 11:00 AM. The site is frequently fully booked due to weekend reservations, making it hard for longer-staying campers to secure the best spots. While it sits right by the water, there are no seating benches along the shoreline, limiting opportunities to enjoy the views. Short-term campers may find themselves surrounded by empty seasonal pitches, creating a deserted atmosphere during the week. The outer edge suffers from early morning motorway noise, just 50 meters away. There is no on-site shop, so a 6-kilometer drive is needed for essentials, and larger dogs have very limited walking options.
