Simos Camping is perfectly perched on the edge of Simos Beach, widely considered the most beautiful stretch of sand in the Peloponnese. Guests are immediately struck by the breathtaking coastal views and impossibly clear water, with the beach just a short walk over small dunes. The setting is so stunning that it makes any minor shortcomings feel utterly negligible. The facility has been recently renovated and is clean, modern, and well-organized, even remaining spotless during peak season. The terrain is dominated by concrete, asphalt, and gravel rather than grassy areas, which may surprise some. On the bright side, many pitches are shaded by trees, offering welcome relief from the sun. Front-row spots numbered 1 through 10 are considered the best, though they are a bit small. The staff are consistently described as exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, always ready to assist with challenges like maneuvering a caravan off the ferry. The team’s friendly and accommodating service leaves a strong positive impression, and they are always ready to find a solution to any issue. A complimentary shuttle bus runs to the nearby harbor town, making it easy to explore without a car. The on-site restaurant is nothing special, but excellent dining options are about five kilometers away in the island's main town. Sanitary facilities work well, although setting the warm water temperature can be tricky. The overall atmosphere is peaceful, especially during June and early to mid-September, appealing to those seeking relaxation. Visitors frequently express a desire to return as often as possible, highlighting the site’s overall appeal and budget-friendly value. Despite crowds, the experience is highly positive, and many guests say they would recommend it without hesitation.
