Settebello Village and Camping
This campsite straddles a busy main road, making pitch selection essential for a peaceful stay. The older section offers direct access to a narrow, sandy beach that sadly disappoints—barely 1.5 meters deep and only a few towels wide. In contrast, the newer section boasts a beautiful swimming pool with lively entertainment, though it sits across the road from the main camping area. Spacious pitches with good natural shade accommodate larger setups comfortably, though some remain tight for big campers. Sandy ground underfoot is common, so come prepared. Children will love the animated programs, but the constant truck and traffic noise can disturb relaxation. The electrical hookups are weak, and the sanitary facilities—partially renovated in earlier years—have since become old and dilapidated. Cleanliness also falls short, with the overall atmosphere suffering from late-night children’s discos that extend into the evening. The surrounding landscape lacks scenic charm, and the beach offers little more than a token seaside experience. While the value for money seemed decent initially, recent visits reveal a decline in upkeep and comfort. The site is best avoided by those seeking tranquility or a proper beach holiday. Families focused on entertainment may find it tolerable, but others should carefully weigh the noise and mediocre facilities.
