Nestled on a terraced hillside overlooking a beautiful small bay, this campsite offers a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing escape, far from organized entertainment. Its location is nothing short of spectacular, with direct access to lovely sandy shores and refreshingly cool sea water, complemented by splendid clear blue skies. The site is open only from mid-June to mid-September, which contributes to its notably quiet atmosphere. Pitches are level and nestled among trees, many offering shade and magnificent sea views. The on-site shop is surprisingly well-stocked for its size, and a small cafeteria operates during peak season. Just across the street, a restaurant serves affordable snacks and meals. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience. Sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean and maintained throughout the day by a dedicated cleaner. The surrounding region is a major draw, with the beach a short walk away (a lightly-trafficked road lies between) and Cabo Finisterre a mere 10-minute drive. However, the campsite has faced challenges with outdated washroom buildings, including broken hot water systems and clogged showers that remain unrepaired. Showers feature push buttons that are difficult for children to reach and cannot be adjusted. The on-site bar has been closed and unrelated to the camping experience, and there is no pool. Despite the cleanliness of older installations, past visitors found little value for the cost. Overall, this is a highly recommended spot for those seeking a peaceful, shaded base to explore the region, though some facilities have fallen short of expectations.
