Rötvikens Camping rests in the scenic Jämtland region, set beside a river and a lake with a recreational pond. The grounds slope gently, and the pitches are clearly marked out but offer no shade from the sun. A sandy beach lies close by, making it easy to enjoy a swim or a relaxing day by the water. For those seeking a roof overhead, the campsite rents out hikers' cabins. The site remains open each year from June 1 until October 31, welcoming guests during the warmer months. Covering 1.5 hectares at an altitude of 315 meters, the campground provides 32 touring pitches sized between 100 and 120 square meters. Eight rental accommodations are available for visitors who prefer not to bring their own gear. The nightly guide price is listed at 26.81 euros for two different rate categories. ACSI inspects the campsite annually to ensure quality and safety across more than 200 facility and service points. Inspector Mr. J.A. Roodenrijs carries out the inspection each year, working as an ACSI employee with no affiliation to the campsite. The campground is not specially equipped for guests with disabilities, and it is not a naturist site. The terrain’s slope and lack of shade may require some adjustment, though these open pitches give a sense of space and freedom. The nearby lake and river offer water access, and the beach enhances the outdoor experience. The presence of rental cabins makes it a flexible choice for different traveler needs. The annual ACSI seal adds a layer of trustworthiness for those who value consistent standards. Whether you arrive with a caravan, tent, or just a desire to relax by the water, the setting provides a straightforward, nature-focused stay.
