This campsite is a fantastic choice for families, with a wide range of activities to keep children entertained, including playgrounds, foam parties, color runs, laser games, raft building, ghost walks, bingo, discos, workshops, pony riding, go-kart rentals, and boat hire. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers a pleasant setting for a holiday. The grounds are generally well-kept and tidy, contributing to an overall neat appearance. However, experiences vary significantly from year to year, with some guests reporting an unfriendly and hostile environment, rude staff, and poor sanitary conditions. While the Wi-Fi once worked excellently, even allowing for streaming, it has also been described as notoriously unreliable and practically unusable, with staff acknowledging the problem but failing to deliver promised improvements. The on-site restaurant and snack bar serve pizza and ice cream, but the restaurant can be expensive with a small menu and disappointing service, including long waits and unavailable items. The shop offers fresh bread from the baker and meat from the butcher, but has a limited selection and does not sell newspapers. Sanitary facilities are dated yet clean, but showers and hot water for dishwashing cost one euro per six minutes via a token system. The swimming pool area feels a bit outdated and the pool water is not heated. Unpaved paths can become puddly and difficult to navigate after rain. There are many seasonal guests and static caravans on site. Some guests have reported theft and felt the owners were unsympathetic and dismissive. The campsite is generally good value for some, but others find the high season prices unjustified given the lack of reliable Wi-Fi. Overall, it is a good option for those prioritizing kid-friendly fun and a nice environment, but anyone needing reliable internet or consistent service quality should look elsewhere.
