This campsite offers a mixed experience, primarily appealing to budget-conscious families with young children during Dutch school holidays. Set in a wonderfully green and tranquil environment, the pitches are large and spacious, providing a good sense of privacy. Guests consistently praise the friendly and flexible staff, who handle late arrivals smoothly. The on-site pub serves acceptable food, which is one of the few positives mentioned. However, the site feels outdated and in need of renovation, with uneven ground and aging buildings. Cleanliness is a recurring issue, particularly in the toilets and general facilities. Showers are notably small and require special tokens available only from the shop during limited hours, compounded by inconsistent warm water. The swimming pool is described as tiny, and the so-called swimming lake is unappealing and small. Nighttime noise from a disco can disturb sleep, and the pitch price is higher than expected due to unclear extra taxes. There is very poor mobile phone reception and no reliable WiFi, with better internet available only several kilometers away. Many extras, including WiFi, cost extra, which some visitors find frustrating. Traffic on the campsite can be an issue too, with cars, motorbikes, and even the site's own golf carts driving too fast. The chemical toilet disposal point had a leak that caused wastewater to spill onto the path. Electrical hookups have been known to fail for an entire week for some visitors. On a brighter note, one guest found the site well-maintained, spacious, and very friendly, while another appreciated the well-equipped mobile home layout. The surrounding area offers plenty of attractions and is very affordable. Overall, this campsite is suitable for families with children up to about age six, but only during Dutch school holidays.
