The on-site restaurant earns high marks for its cozy atmosphere, excellent menu, and superbly tasty food, often set on a lovely terrace with a view. A well-stocked shop with reasonable prices covers basic needs, including hot food options. Families are especially well catered for with a huge central playground, additional play areas, a jumping pillow, and various sports zones that keep children entertained and safe. The swimming pool is a highlight, though some guests wish for more dedicated kids' entertainment like a disco. The nearby lake and beach provide opportunities for paddleboarding and other water sports, making the location ideal for exploring Amsterdam easily. Free WiFi works perfectly, and staff are repeatedly described as friendly, helpful, and reliable. The campsite is dog-friendly, with animals reported to be happy on site, though one year blue-green algae prevented dogs from cooling off in the lake. Pitches are spacious with electric hookups included, but guests cannot park their car next to the pitch—vehicles must move to a designated area, which some find inconvenient. Some guests noted that toilets and water points can be quite far from certain pitches, and the pitches themselves can be sandy, occasionally causing caravans to sink slightly.
