Value for money
This campsite leaves much to be desired, especially for those expecting the quality implied by its ACSI affiliation. Prices feel steep given the actual experience, and the promotional images of seaside pitches are highly misleading. ACSI guests are typically directed to a poorly maintained 'red zone,' far from the scenic spots shown online. In one unsettling incident, a camper reported their car damaged by a falling tree in that area. Even when better pitches were available near the reception on September 1st, these were not offered to ACSI guests. The site clearly prioritizes non-ACSI visitors, relegating others to lesser sections. The overall condition feels neglected, with maintenance issues apparent throughout. Safety concerns are significant, as demonstrated by the falling tree and other apparent hazards. Pitch sizes feel cramped, adding to the sense of being shortchanged. Travelers should approach this site with caution, especially those booking through ACSI. The lack of transparency about pitch assignments is particularly frustrating. Many campers leave feeling they did not get what they paid for. It is hard to recommend this destination for a relaxing or reliable camping holiday. The disparity between marketing and reality is stark and disappointing.
