Park Farm Caravan and Camping
Park Farm Camping is a spacious, well-maintained campsite set in the beautiful countryside of Kent, close to attractions like Bodiam Castle. It is particularly popular with families and large groups, offering generous pitches that allow children plenty of space to play freely. The site features a well-maintained playground, a shop with basic essentials, and a cafe serving freshly cooked meals and takeaway food. Fire pits are allowed, with logs sold on site, adding to the outdoor atmosphere. The large playground and a nearby river slide are major draws for children. A scenic walk to Bodiam Castle and its pub is a favorite activity among guests. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to accommodate guests and manage noise issues. However, the shop focuses heavily on sweets and ice cream, with limited foodstuffs and camping equipment, and the cafe can have slow service during busy times. Toilet and shower blocks are clean but can be insufficient during peak periods, leading to queues. Some facilities, such as toilets, may be locked overnight or toward the end of the season, and water points are limited, requiring long walks from distant pitches. WiFi signal is weak or non-existent in many areas, and mobile signal is poor on some networks. Noise levels vary; quiet hours are observed from 10 pm, but some guests report late parties and loud music on busy weekends, as well as noise from seasonal pitches. The site can get busy and muddy when wet, and some felt the facilities appeared tired toward the end of season. Electric hookups may require long extension cables from certain pitches. Despite these issues, the site feels safe and family-friendly, with many visitors planning return trips for the welcoming atmosphere and ample space.
