Pitches are a major source of frustration, as they are extremely small, often on gravel that becomes muddy when wet, and private lakeside spots promised during booking are frequently reassigned upon arrival. The sanitary facilities are old, poorly ventilated, and not always well-maintained, with reports of broken fixtures, cobwebs, and unclean conditions. Showers require tokens, yet warm water is inconsistent, and some blocks are locked late at night, forcing guests to use dishwashing sinks for basic hygiene. Prices are widely considered excessive, with hidden fees, full high-season rates applied even in low season, and no flexibility for guests forced to shorten their stay due to flooding or other issues. When guests complain about problems with their pitch, the owner's confrontational attitude can lead to an ultimatum to leave and forfeit the deposit. While the on-site restaurant, run by a separate tenant, receives some praise, it is also reported as overpriced for the quality, and only cash payment is accepted. Internet connectivity is virtually nonexistent, and the lighting system uses motion sensors, causing delays when walking to the washrooms at night. The site's neglected feel is compounded by weeds and untended vegetation. Dogs are heavily restricted yet incur additional fees.
