This campsite on the Danish Riviera, between Copenhagen and Helsingør, offers a beautiful setting and spacious, mostly sunny pitches that provide plenty of room for your setup. The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to assist guests, contributing to a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. A regional train to Copenhagen passes by frequently but is not considered a disturbance. The location is convenient for cyclists, with the train station just 10 minutes away by bike, and the harbor and beach also easily reachable. It serves as an excellent stopover on the way to Sweden, giving easy access to both nature and city connections. Copenhagen is only 30 kilometers away and reachable by train or bike, making day trips simple. While the entrance is a bit hidden, the grounds open up to an open layout without hedges or fences between pitches, offering a sense of freedom. Sanitary facilities are kept very clean and tidy, though some note they are not modern and showers have separate taps for hot and cold water instead of a mixer. Toilet blocks may be far from certain pitches. A permanent payment system is in place, and a bread delivery service and supermarket within cycling distance cover daily needs. Dogs can be walked beside the campsite, and the area is great for cycling to Helsingør or the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Some pitches are occupied by seasonal guests, and these areas can be poorly maintained. The campsite is not luxurious but provides clean basic amenities and a calm environment, making it ideal for relaxation. A pond on site unfortunately has no beach access.
