Pitches vary in size from 120 to 200 square meters, each equipped with an electric hookup. The campsite is child-friendly, featuring a playground with a sandpit, water pump, and swings, alongside space for football, table tennis, and boules. An adjacent forest provides additional exploration opportunities for young adventurers. Evenings can be enjoyed around a communal campfire, where marshmallows are a must. Outside school holidays, the site attracts peace-seekers and nature lovers thanks to its direct access to a network of cycling and walking routes extending into Belgium. The surrounding recreation area, De IJzerenman, offers a petting zoo, minigolf, climbing forest, indoor play paradise, and a swimming pool, all within a kilometer. Onsite facilities include a baby bath, washing machine, dryer, and a cozy indoor room with a stove, free Wi-Fi, and tourist information. Fresh bread, eggs, and local products are available for purchase during high season. The campsite has been inspected by ACSI and ANWB, achieving a green star rating between three and four and a half stars. Dogs are welcome, and the site provides a peaceful atmosphere suitable for families and those seeking tranquility. There is no pool on site, but swimming opportunities exist nearby. The nearest town, Weert, is two kilometers away, with public transport access at the same distance. Internet is available at the reception and restaurant areas. The campsite requires a Natuurkampeerkaart from Stichting De Groene Koepel, which can be purchased on arrival. Payment is by cash only, and advance booking is mandatory. With 63 touring pitches and six rental accommodations, the site emphasizes a natural, eco-friendly experience.
