Kruger Naturcamp is a peaceful nature campsite on the Baltic island of Rügen, ideally located on the edge of a protected natural area and within Jasmund National Park. The surroundings are stunning, featuring famous chalk cliffs, blooming rapeseed fields, and excellent walking and cycling opportunities. Hiking trails start right from the premises, making it a perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts. E-bikes can be rented on site, and a shuttle service is available to local attractions like the Stortebeker Festspiele. The campsite is divided into three natural sections without fixed pitches, giving ample space and a tranquil atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly staff, who provide a warm welcome and offer flexibility in choosing a pitch. The on-site restaurant is a standout highlight, serving spectacular fresh fish prepared to perfection and rivaling top restaurants. A bread roll service is available each morning for a convenient breakfast. The sanitary facilities are modern and spotless, though recent years have noted inconsistencies, with some basic container units lacking proper men's showers. Showers operate by tokens, which were complimentary with a Camping Card. Electricity is included in the price, considered very fair for the high season, though electrical hookups can be messy and require a long cable. The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet and restful, making it ideal for relaxation. Recent ownership changes have introduced some uncertainty, and the fastest access route via two villages has extremely poor road conditions; a better alternative is via Sassnitz heading north. The on-site minigolf course has fallen into disrepair. This clean, well-maintained naturist-friendly site leaves many guests planning to revisit.
