The atmosphere is remarkably tranquil and quiet, making it an ideal retreat from daily life. A highlight of any stay is the opportunity to explore the river by canoe, a fantastic way to take in the natural surroundings. Paddling up to the grill hut at Bysjön/Närssjö is a particularly memorable adventure. For those who prefer land, a scenic cycling route along the river offers beautiful views. The owners are exceptionally welcoming and helpful, providing excellent local advice for hiking and cycling. Free amenities include canoe use, a grill area, and a kitchen, adding great value to your stay. The main sanitary block is clean and charming, with separate male and female facilities. Although an additional block shows its age, the overall cleanliness remains commendable. A small supermarket within walking distance stocks a surprisingly wide range of goods, perfect for supplies. The campsite is very affordable, with a low nightly rate and a '7 nights for the price of 6' deal even in high season. Many guests feel the price could be higher given the outstanding service and prime location. After rain, the field can become muddy, but this is a minor inconvenience given the natural setting.
