The surrounding region offers stunning landscapes, and guests can relax on a pleasant terrace by the water while enjoying drinks and snacks. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful, with some speaking Dutch, and check-in is handled smoothly through a digital system. The grounds are well-maintained and the sanitary facilities are generally clean and modern, especially the showers, which receive high praise. However, during peak season the toilet and shower capacity can be insufficient, leading to queues at any time of day. Noise is a recurring issue, as road traffic from the opposite bank echoes off the hillside and concrete barriers, and daily maintenance like lawnmowing and pressure washing disrupts the peace. Pitches vary considerably; those by the water can be noisier but offer premium views, while others may lack shade entirely. Many pitches are spacious, though one shaded pitch has a path to the jetty running through it that is not indicated on the map. The campsite provides a bread roll service and a small food truck with a pleasant terrace, as well as a lovely little shop. Families will appreciate the top-notch playground and fairy‑tale house that delight children, and the nearby Moseltherme in Trarbach offers a nice swimming pool. WiFi quality is inconsistent and generally unreliable for heavy use, especially far from the entrance. Pricing can be confusing due to a lack of displayed price lists, and some guests have had to request corrections to their applied discounts. Despite these drawbacks, many guests enjoy multi‑day stays and express a desire to return, praising the cleanliness, friendly staff, and well‑kept appearance.
