Camping De Koerberg is a well-maintained campsite in a beautiful cycling area near the village of Heerde, which offers a wide range of shops and restaurants. The pitches are spacious and come with water, electricity, and digital TV connections. The sanitary facilities are generally clean and well-kept, but there is only one building, which may be short on toilets and showers on the men's side. Some guests noticed mice, considered normal in a natural setting. The outdoor swimming pool is small but adequate. The campsite has a restaurant with a terrace that is often quiet. Emergency response at the disabled toilet after hours was handled promptly. Children should be careful on the crushed asphalt paths, which can cause scrapes and emit an odor when wet and sunny. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the site is calm day and night. There is no shop on site, but fresh bread can be ordered. Nearby Heerde has multiple supermarkets and friendly cafes. The location is excellent for cycling, and overall the camping is highly recommended.
