This campsite provides a practical base for travelers who want to explore both city attractions and nearby nature outings. Its grounds are generally well maintained, though noise from a main road and the flight path of Vienna Airport can be a recurring issue. Light sleepers should definitely remember to bring earplugs. The site offers adequate facilities for caravans and is very easy to access by road. In recent years, a renovation has made the sanitary facilities and other amenities look excellent. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful, always ready to assist guests. Spacious pitches once provided plenty of room for guests to spread out comfortably, but more recently pitches have become extremely small, even for a 6-meter motorhome. The location serves as a cool retreat away from the warm city center, making it ideal for exploring without the heat. However, fresh bread is not always available on-site, so guests may need to plan ahead for breakfast supplies. A supermarket is within cycling distance, and a SPAR and public transportation stops are situated very close by, offering great convenience for groceries and transit. There are no facilities whatsoever for children, making the site unsuitable for families. Cleanliness has been a mixed point: while recent renovations have improved sanitary facilities, dirty toilets have been a major drawback in other seasons. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, but the combination of cramped pitches and high noise levels could detract from the experience. For those prioritizing accessibility and convenience over peace and quiet, this campsite remains a functional choice with both notable drawbacks and recent upgrades.
