This campsite has undergone a dramatic transformation over the years. In 2021 and 2023, guests reported a very negative experience with strict rules, unwelcoming staff, and poor facilities. However, by 2024, new management took over and completely turned things around. The site is now exceptionally quiet and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Facilities have been upgraded, and there are excellent nearby attractions including a large swimming pool complex, outstanding restaurants (steak and fish), a seal sanctuary, a dog-friendly beach on the dyke, and a charming marina. The local tea house is famous for its delicious apple cake. This is a fantastic destination for a peaceful and enjoyable holiday.
