The nearest town, Alingsås, has a Lidl supermarket within a 10-minute drive, and its train station provides access to Gothenburg in 28 to 45 minutes with a day pass valid for both train and bus travel. On-site, the restaurant serves surprisingly good pizzas, adding a pleasant dining option. However, the campsite has significant drawbacks that have worsened over time. The sanitary facilities are consistently described as dirty, neglected, and outdated, with wobbly toilet seats, poor ventilation causing unpleasant odors, and faulty hot and cold water in the showers. Paid showers provide only three minutes of warm water, which often runs shorter than promised. The toilet building itself is old and reportedly plays loud music, detracting from the atmosphere.
