This campsite sits directly along the Tarne river, offering fishing opportunities and excellent cycling and walking paths along well-maintained canals. The charming town of Moissac is just a short walking distance away, frequently visited by pilgrim walkers. Guests enjoyed a pleasant stroll along the river and reached the town in about five minutes on foot, with stunning views from the bridge. The campsite features a beautiful swimming pool and is kept clean and tidy. The sanitary facilities are of outstanding quality, and the staff is welcoming and professional. It is an ideal spot for a one-night stop or a longer stay while traveling through southern France. The pitches are spacious, many offering shade and some with lovely river views. A daily food truck visits the site, and a baker delivers fresh baguettes and croissants each morning. The location is ideal for cycling, fishing, and enjoying nature walks directly from the campsite. Those expecting full services during the off-season may be disappointed, as the pool and bar were closed in early May. The facilities are unisex and lack toilet seats, though toilet paper is provided. Cleanliness can be a mixed bag: while the toilets are cleaned three times a day, users track in mud from the pitches, so floors stay dirty. The pitches themselves have long grass that becomes muddy when wet, and on-site maintenance is noticeably poor. Road noise, especially from motorbikes, can be bothersome, and rubbish bins are scarce, mostly located near the entrance. Overall, the campsite is adequate for a short stop but not a place to linger. Although driving through the entrance can be tricky when towing a caravan, the overall experience is described as pleasant and well-run.
