This campsite, a 15-minute walk from the charming town of Kerteminde, offers a pleasant and well-maintained base for exploring the local area. The sanitary blocks are kept in excellent condition, ensuring a comfortable experience for guests. A nice beach is within walking distance, perfect for a quick swim or a relaxing day by the water, and a decent playground is available on site for families with young children. The pitch options include both defined, separated spots and more open areas, giving visitors some choice depending on their preference for privacy or openness. A recent three-night stay coincided with the Sankt Hans celebration on June 23rd, featuring a lovely bonfire on the beach. Guests enjoyed several bicycle rides using Komoot routes. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, but there have been notable issues. The dishwashing water tends to not be sufficiently warm, especially in the evenings. The internet connectivity is also not up to par, which may be a drawback for those needing reliable online access. During a recent stay, the main building suffered a fire, leading to a lack of extras like WiFi, a washing machine, or indoor dining or dry shelter. Despite this misfortune, the owner is working on renovations and doing their best to improve the situation. The welcome was exceptionally warm and positive, with staff showing resilience and optimism. Guests wished the owners success and encouraged them to keep up their spirits. While the pitch we occupied was conveniently located near the main building, it might be worth considering other areas for more tranquility. Overall, the campsite provides a decent environment but has room for improvement in terms of water temperature and WiFi.
