Hvalpsund Familie Camping
Hvalpsund Familie Camping is a family-friendly campsite located on the outskirts of a beautiful fjord in the North Jutland Region, surrounded by stunning countryside and water. The site features a child-friendly beach right by the fjord, ideal for families. The harbour at Hvalpsund is only an 800-metre walk away. The campsite itself has a swimming pool with a waterslide and a bubble zone. The central square houses a cosy café offering groceries, drinks, fresh sandwiches, breakfast bread, and light meals. Walkers and cyclists can explore numerous marked routes. The campsite offers various accommodation options, including pitches with fjord views, standard pitches, tent pitches with or without electricity, camper stops for motorhomes, mini cabins, shelters, premium cabins with or without a spa, and safari tents. All pitches have access to modern service buildings with toilets, showers, a communal kitchen, and waste disposal facilities for greywater and chemical toilets. The panoramic pitches provide breathtaking views of the Limfjord and surrounding islands. The mini cabins are recently renovated and insulated, sleeping four people with a kitchenette. Shelters offer a rustic experience with electricity and are near the fjord. Premium Limfjord Cabins are fully insulated for year-round use, with modern kitchens, bathrooms, and terraces overlooking the fjord. The safari tents provide a glamping experience with five beds and a terrace. The campsite has a large playground and a nature room. Guests can rent transparent kayaks and paddleboards to explore the fjord. Fishing is popular in the Limfjord or in two private Put & Take lakes with a fishing licence. A golf course is just 2 km away. The campsite is open all year round and spans 8.5 hectares. It has 235 touring pitches, 70 permanent annual pitches, and 9 rental accommodations. The ACSI inspector visits annually to check facilities and cleanliness. The campsite is suitable for guests with disabilities. It is not a naturist campsite.
