This campsite enjoys an enviable location within walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach, drawing guests back year after year with its seaside proximity. The pitches are large, level, and well-laid-out, offering generous space for caravans, motorhomes, or tents. Evening entertainment at the clubhouse, including bingo and games, creates a lively atmosphere that appeals to families and groups. The heated swimming pool is a popular feature, though booking may be required and some guests found it not actually warm. The on-site shop is adequate for basic supplies, and the bar and restaurant, while convenient, have been criticized for being overpriced and serving poor food. Dogs are welcomed, and the site is generally quiet with a peaceful ambiance. However, cleanliness in the toilet and shower blocks is a recurring and serious issue, with reports of spiders, dead flies, dirty floors, and unpleasant odors. Some showers require constant button-pressing to stay on, adding to the frustration. Staff performance is mixed: many are friendly and helpful, but others have been described as rude or unhelpful, and concerns about safety have been raised, including unaddressed loud music and drug-related activity. WiFi is virtually nonexistent except near reception, and mobile phone signal is also very poor. The path to the beach is not ideal, and pitches can become waterlogged after rain. Despite these drawbacks, the stunning beach access and friendly staff often make guests consider returning, though significant management improvements are clearly needed.
