Hestehaven Camping sits along the coast of Fjellerup in Central Jutland, offering guests direct access to a sandy beach. The campsite spans 5.5 hectares and features a variety of pitch types, including touring pitches ranging from 70 to 150 square meters, motorhome pitches, and permanent annual pitches. Pitches come with varying levels of shade, some fully shaded, others partially shaded, and some with no shade at all. Guests can also rent tents, bungalows, chalets, and unique Hobbit huts inspired by Tolkien's dwellings. All accommodation options include free hot shower water and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the site. From Pentecost to early September, visitors enjoy free access to a heated swimming pool maintained at 27 degrees Celsius. The campsite provides a cozy tent area with a fire pit, fully equipped kitchens with barbecue areas, and a lounge with a TV room. For recreation, there is a large playground featuring a bouncy castle and trampolines, as well as padel and tennis courts located opposite the campsite. A 19-hole mini-golf course is just 50 meters away, though both the courts and mini-golf require an entrance fee. Other amenities include a sauna and hammock area, creating a relaxing atmosphere for adults. The campsite is open from March 27 to September 20, and daily rates cover up to five people with bath and Wi-Fi included. Comfort pitches come with water and drainage connections, while motorhome pitches offer dedicated facilities. Rental cabins vary from basic 15-square-meter units with toilets to luxury 30-square-meter cabins with private showers and fully equipped kitchens. The site is inspected annually by ACSI to ensure quality and safety across over 200 facility points. Although it is not naturist-friendly or fully accessible for guests with disabilities, the campsite offers a wide range of amenities suitable for families. With its seaside location, heated pool, and numerous on-site activities, Hestehaven Camping provides a comprehensive vacation experience in central Denmark.
