This campsite feels stuck in the past, with worn-out facilities and a general lack of care. The shower block is particularly off-putting, featuring outdated fixtures and significant mold issues, with one shower completely unusable due to the smell. Despite the high prices, the pitches are uneven and sloped, with little to no groundwork, and some electrical connections rely on unsafe extension cords. The booking system seems unreliable; even after paying for multiple nights, you may have to scramble for a spot upon arrival with no guarantee of finding one. Quiet hours are posted but are not enforced, so peace and quiet are not guaranteed. On the upside, the location is convenient, being close to Mariehamn and the sea, with pleasant natural surroundings. However, given the poor value and low standard, most visitors would recommend seeking a better option elsewhere in Åland.
