This terraced campsite sits within 150 hectares near Bridport, Dorset, right where the sea meets a river. The sloped grounds feature clearly marked pitches, some with shade and others fully exposed to the sun. A pebble beach lies just a short stroll away, giving guests direct access to the coast. Alongside traditional tent and caravan spots, the park offers rental mobile homes for those who prefer a ready-made stay. Families appreciate the dedicated playground and sports ground, which keep children active throughout the day. The campsite opens from March 13 to November 8, providing a long season for exploring the Jurassic Coast. With 530 touring pitches, each measuring 100 to 110 square metres, there is plenty of room for spreading out. In addition, 216 permanent annual pitches and 50 rental units cater to longer stays. The park accommodates guests with disabilities, though it is not a naturist site. A private beach steps from the campground adds a sense of exclusivity for swimming and sunbathing. The elevated position at 20 metres above sea level offers refreshing coastal breezes in summer. Many visitors enjoy the combination of seaside location and on-site facilities that suit all ages. The ACSI inspection team notes that cleanliness and service standards remain high year after year. This family-friendly destination balances natural beauty with well-maintained amenities for a comfortable holiday.
