This chain campsite feels short on character and charm, with most pitches crammed into tight rows lacking any greenery for separation. A handful of spots are pleasant enough, but the overall layout leaves much to be desired. The staff come across as friendly yet seem like students, and their cleaning efforts fall short—hygiene standards in the sanitary facilities are disappointingly low. On the bright side, a small but lovely beach provides a nice escape, and the nearby town of Karlskrona delights visitors with a superb museum. A supermarket is close by, and both are easily reached by bike, making errands and outings convenient. The on-site Thai restaurant is a true highlight, serving delicious meals that draw diners back. Unfortunately, the campsite sits right next to a major road, so traffic noise is constant and intrusive. The showers and toilets are often dirty, forcing guests to rely on the disabled-access facilities instead. Given the noise, lack of cleanliness, and cramped pitches, the price feels far too steep for what’s offered. Campers seeking a serene or well-maintained stay will be disappointed, though those prioritizing beach access and good food might find some redeeming qualities. The atmosphere overall is lackluster, with little to inspire a return visit. It’s a place that trades on convenience but fails on comfort and value.
