Amenities
Dogs / pets friendly
This charming campsite makes a wonderful impression on visitors, especially those traveling with dogs. The owners are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests feel so well-cared-for that many express a strong desire to return. The site's dog-friendly policy is a standout feature, allowing four-legged family members to enjoy the stay as much as their owners. With its combination of hospitable staff and a pet‑welcoming environment, the campsite is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it offers a memorable experience that encourages repeat visits. In 2025, the campsite remains suitable for travelers passing through. The sanitary facilities are clean but insufficient for the number of pitches available. Despite reserving as early as January for a scenic spot with a panoramic view, guests found those spots already occupied and were placed in an apple and pear orchard at the front instead. Electricity access proved challenging, with only one fixed power point, requiring multiple extension cords. A standard household plug had to be used instead of the proper caravan CEE connector. Overall, a 19-night stay involved navigating several obstacles that marred the experience. The warm hospitality noted in earlier years remains, but practical shortcomings now detract from the experience. Travelers should be aware of the limited amenities and potential disappointments with pitch placement. Nonetheless, the staff continue to be a highlight, offering genuine care and friendliness. The campsite still holds appeal for short stops and dog owners, though longer stays may require careful planning.
