Situated by the sea near a ferry, this campsite offers a convenient coastal setting but suffers from significant drawbacks that overshadow its location. While the surrounding peninsula is stunning for cycling and a forest path leads to a spacious beach ideal for dogs, the site is consistently described as overpriced and overcrowded, especially during peak season. The staff were noted as exceptionally friendly in one year, but this positive aspect is undermined by numerous poor facilities. Showers operate on a frustrating three-minute timer that continues counting even if paused, and additional fees apply for hot water, washing machines, and dryers. Toilets and showers are scarce, with long queues forming due to combined units. Wi-Fi is poor, and the minigolf course is in bad condition yet still charged for. Pitches are extremely cramped, and noise levels are high with late-night music. Despite its beautiful setting, the high prices and low standards make it a poor value for money, with issues like limited space, poor cleanliness, and inconvenient fees leaving many visitors disappointed.
