Nestled in a picturesque landscape, this campsite consistently delights guests with its stunning scenery, access to a beach and a lake, and a lovely pond that enhances the natural setting. The on-site Italian restaurant serves beautiful food, and the surrounding area offers easy walks into Germany for meals and drinks, adding to the cultural appeal. Guests are welcomed with a thoughtful gift upon arrival, setting a positive tone for the stay. The park is clean and well-maintained, featuring a playground for children and organized activities that keep young ones entertained. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and responsive, quickly addressing issues such as draining waterlogged ground or resolving TV connection problems. Comfort pitches provide generous space with TV connections and reliable free WiFi, ensuring a modern and relaxing camping experience. However, the campsite faces significant challenges with drainage: heavy rain turns tent and motorhome pitches into boggy, muddy ground with standing water, leading to swamp-like smells and concerns about vehicles getting stuck. Motorhome pitches lack hard standings, and after rain, campers find themselves ankle-deep in water, having to splash through to the toilets. The toilet design is awkward, lacking an internal corridor and forcing campers to walk outside between the toilets and hand-washing area. A group of drunk youths not staying on site shook guests' tents at 2 am, frightening children and highlighting occasional safety issues from external visitors. The price for two people and a dog was 53 euros per night, which some felt was excessive given the muddy conditions and drainage problems. The installation of black and yellow speed bumps can be jarring for RVs unless traversed at a crawl, slightly marring the otherwise smooth road access. Despite these drawbacks, the campsite's beautiful location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, and lake or beach access make it a memorable destination, though guests should be prepared for potential weather-related challenges.
