East Fleet Farm Touring Park
East Fleet Farm is a stunning campsite perched on the Dorset coast, offering sweeping views over Chesil Beach and the Fleet Lagoon. Its location provides direct access to the South West Coast Path, making it a perfect base for coastal walks and exploring the Jurassic Coast. The site is immaculately maintained, with consistently high praise for spotless facilities. The highlight of the facilities is the modern, pod-style private bathrooms that combine a shower, toilet, and sink in one spacious, clean room. The on-site shop is exceptional, frequently described as the best-stocked campsite shop with fresh pastries, local produce, and camping essentials. A bar and restaurant serve tasty food, including stone-baked pizzas, and offer evening entertainment like live music and bingo. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and visible around the grounds, often going above and beyond to assist guests. Pitches are large and many are separated by high hedges, offering good privacy, though some have a slight slope. The site is very dog-friendly, with a dedicated off-leash exercise field, dog wash, and even a dog menu in the pub. Families love the superb children's playground, football pitch, and volleyball court. The atmosphere is generally quiet, with enforced quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am, though noise from the play area or bar can occasionally be heard. Wi-Fi is included but often weak or unreliable, and mobile signal can be patchy. The access road is narrow with speed bumps, requiring care when towing. The lagoon beach adjacent is soft mud and unsuitable for swimming, but Chesil Beach and Weymouth's sandy beaches are a short drive away, with a regular bus service stopping nearby. A supermarket is within walking distance for extra supplies. The overwhelming sentiment from guests is high satisfaction, with many returning year after year for the combination of location, cleanliness, and friendly team.
