The nearby sea town of Itea lies a scenic 12-kilometer hike downhill, where a highly recommended fish restaurant awaits. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who go out of their way to be helpful, even checking if you need fresh bread or supplies for the next day. The on-site restaurant is a highlight, serving excellent cuisine, with the homemade olive oil being a standout local product worth tasting. A decent swimming pool offers a spectacular panorama, though its availability varies by season, as it may be closed in early spring. The pitches themselves are beautiful and spacious, with many offering expansive vistas over the valley. However, the access road is in very poor condition, with large potholes and narrow, steep sections that have caused damage to vehicles. The sanitary facilities receive mixed reviews, with many noting they are dated and in need of renovation, and some visitors have reported unpleasant odors. A significant nuisance during certain seasons is a pigeon infestation that can seriously disturb your peace. Families with young children should be cautious about loose fencing that poses a safety risk.
