This lakeside campsite in the Degerfors area is an inviting destination for families, especially those seeking a straightforward beach holiday. The main draw is the lovely sandy beach, which offers excellent swimming and is directly accessible from the pitches. Arrival is hassle-free, even when reception is closed, making it convenient for all travelers. The cabins are consistently praised for their freshness and are well-suited for families with children and grandchildren. Staff provide exceptional service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The site is small but well-managed, with proximity to the Stora Valla sports venue and a nearby golf course. A July visit, however, was unexpectedly disrupted by a dog show on the tent meadow, featuring constant barking with no advance warning. Aside from the beach, on-site activities are limited, with no hiking or biking trails leading from the property. Nearby towns offer shopping, and local fishing from a boat was reported to be very successful daily. Pitch conditions vary: level and large spots on the meadow, while those directly by the lake are very sloped and uneven. Nighttime noise from local youths can be a problem, and the sanitary facilities, though clean and mixed-gender, could be more abundant. Overall, the campsite feels like a municipal setup with a shared beach, and while some visits are pleasant, others have not matched expectations.
