Year after year, this campsite near Paris and Disneyland proves itself a peaceful, nature-filled retreat for families seeking a quiet base after busy days of sightseeing. The atmosphere remains notably calm, with spacious, shaded pitches separated by hedges that offer excellent privacy and room for tents, caravans, or motorhomes. Children are the heart of the experience, with a wealth of amenities including heated swimming pools with waterslides, multiple playgrounds, trampolines, sports courts, and even a fishing pond. The staff consistently receive praise for their warm welcome and helpfulness, though occasional language barriers are noted. Free Wi-Fi now works well in accommodations and across much of the site, a welcome improvement in recent years. The on-site restaurant and snack bar, however, fall short, offering limited menus at high prices with slow service, and the small shop stocks only basic essentials at a premium. Cleanliness remains the most persistent issue, with sanitary facilities often described as outdated, poorly maintained, and lacking basics like toilet paper or consistent hot water. The access road can be narrow and muddy after rain, and the barrier closing at 11 p.m. or midnight clashes with late returns from Disneyland fireworks. Guests without a car face challenges due to limited public transport and the absence of a promised shuttle. Despite these shortcomings, the campsite excels as a tranquil, family-focused destination with strong children's facilities and a welcoming staff, making it a reliable choice for those who set expectations for on-site dining and hygiene accordingly.
