CityCamp Assens Strand sits on the southwest coast of Funen, the island often called the Garden of Denmark for its orchards and rural charm. The campsite borders the town of Assens and lies directly by the sea, with a wide sandy beach just steps away. From the park-like grounds, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the water, and the sunsets here are particularly spectacular as the sun dips into the ocean. This recently renovated campsite combines a natural setting with modern amenities. The site spans 15 hectares and offers a total of 530 touring pitches, each measuring between 100 and 140 square meters. There are also 29 motorhome pitches and 100 permanent annual pitches. For those who prefer a roof over their heads, eight rental accommodations are available, including the Beach Suite and Beach Villa. The Beach Suite is a 24-square-meter unit with a small kitchen, dishwasher, stove, oven, and extractor hood. It comes fully equipped with crockery and pots for four, a dining area, sofa group with TV, and a modern bathroom with underfloor heating. The bedroom includes closet space and a loft with two extra sleeping places, making it suitable for up to four guests, though it is intended for two. Pets are not allowed in the Beach Suite, and it can be rented year-round. The Beach Villa is a 35-square-meter unit with similar kitchen amenities, but also features a spa bath and underfloor heating. It is designed for four people, but with the loft, it can accommodate up to six. Again, pets are not permitted, and the villa is available all year. For caravanners, the campsite offers several pitch categories. Standard pitches are practical and spacious, set in scenic surroundings, each with a ten-amp electrical hookup. Luxury pitches provide a comfortable experience near nature and amenities, also with ten-amp electricity. The Luxury Pitch+ option places you in the prime viewing area of the campsite for panoramic views. All pitches offer access to modern service facilities. The campsite is open from January 1 to December 31, making it a year-round destination. Please note that the campsite is not suitable for guests with disabilities and is not a naturist site.
