Cieloverde Camping Village
This expansive campsite offers a wide array of services to make your stay comfortable, though its sheer size means you'll likely want a bicycle or scooter to get around efficiently. The washroom facilities are a bit dated, which is a minor drawback in an otherwise well-equipped setting. Guests can enjoy plenty of on-site amenities, ensuring there's always something to do without leaving the grounds. The spacious layout provides ample room for relaxation and exploration, catering to both short visits and longer holidays. With such a range of offerings, it's a practical choice for travelers who value convenience and variety. The campsite is large but divided into spacious sections, so it never feels overcrowded. The sanitary facilities are clean, though toilet paper is not provided and the water for washing dishes is only lukewarm. The nearest beach is about two kilometers away, offering both free areas and sections where you can rent parasols and loungers. A notable drawback is the daily noise from a disco that continues until midnight. The grounds are spacious and well-organized, with many large, shaded pitches that provide comfort even on hot days. A free shuttle train runs from morning to evening, connecting guests to the beach and various points around the site. The nearby beach is lovely and easily accessible on foot, by bike, or via the shuttle. On-site amenities include a well-stocked supermarket with a bakery, a bicycle rental service, and plenty of leisure activities. The staff are praised for their attentive care, especially toward guests traveling with dogs. However, the site is close to a military airfield, so fighter jets can be heard several times a day, and crickets chirp loudly from morning to night. The sanitary blocks are dated, lack toilet paper, and rely on water spray hoses, with a complicated waste disposal station located off-site and sometimes inaccessible. The burger and steak restaurant was disappointing, resembling a fast-food outlet with overpriced food. Despite these drawbacks, the combination of shade, beach access, and a dog-friendly atmosphere makes it a notable spot for certain travelers. The pitches are situated far from restaurants, vehicles, shows, and activities, so comfortable walking shoes are essential. A visitor with a caravan enjoyed a pleasant stay with their spouse, while another guest was surprised that the swimming pool required an additional fee. For families, the extra pool charge and distance from entertainment may be a drawback.
