Guests can secure front-row pitches with breathtaking sea views and direct access to the sand, creating an idyllic coastal retreat. The staff consistently receive high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, while a 24-hour security guard and private patrols provide a welcome sense of safety throughout the property. The grounds are generally well-maintained, with a local market on site that makes it easy to grab everyday supplies, though the market can sometimes be poorly stocked. The bar serves reasonably priced drinks in a friendly atmosphere, while the food is average but reliable. Pitch sizes are generous, and the site enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, especially in September, with plenty of shade from natural surroundings. Despite these charms, the campsite suffers from serious shortcomings that detract from the experience. The sanitary facilities are a major letdown: showers are outdated and occasionally lack working lights, while toilets have been left with visible mess for days, with no soap provided. Cleanliness in the washrooms is poor, with reports of bird droppings and unsanitary conditions persisting throughout a stay. WiFi is available only at the bar or beachfront restaurant and comes at an extra cost with weak coverage. Mobile phone reception is virtually non-existent on-site, leaving guests disconnected. The approach roads are very narrow, which can be tricky for larger vehicles. Some beachfront pitches are infested with ants, and there is no fresh water available for rinsing dogs after a swim on the designated pet beach, which itself requires a long, hard walk. While the bar and restaurant staff try their best, the evening entertainment is considered earnest but not exciting, and sunbeds and umbrellas are not included in the stay price. Many guests feel the campsite is significantly overpriced for the outdated, neglected facilities, and they note that profits should be reinvested into proper upgrades. Overall, this is a destination for those who prioritize a spectacular beach location over modern comforts and top-tier cleanliness.
