This campsite presents a mixed and often disappointing experience for visitors across multiple seasons. While it shines as a haven for dog lovers with a dedicated dog beach and a large off-leash area open year-round, it falls short in many other areas. The spacious pitches are well laid out and the site maintains excellent cleanliness despite the many dogs, but these positives are offset by significant shortcomings. The staff have been described as unfriendly, unhelpful, and primarily focused on profit rather than guest experience, making the site feel unwelcoming. A major concern is the cancellation policy, which leaves guests without a refund or credit if they need to cancel, even for valid reasons like rising infection rates. Only 10% of the paid amount is returned, and no goodwill or flexibility is shown. The animation program for children is very limited, available only during the summer holidays, with minimal events at Easter and Pentecost. The chalet accommodations lack essential kitchen equipment and could benefit from renovation, while the grounds have an abundance of nettles. The on-site restaurant serves good food but the dining area is worn-out and feels overly commercialized. There is only one washing machine and one dryer for an estimated 750 guests, and even that machine was broken when a visitor wanted to do laundry. The overall maintenance is poor, giving the site a run-down feel, as if an investor bought the campsite purely for profit. Although some personal interactions with staff are friendly, the general atmosphere is one of neglect and over-commercialization, leaving a lingering sense of disappointment. Visitors in the pre-season miss out on the summer animation programs entirely, while the sparse holiday events fail to compensate. The campsite prioritizes maximizing revenue over providing quality service or reasonable policies for its guests.
