Its greatest asset is incredible convenience, with easy access directly from Autobahn 8, making it a perfect choice for a quick overnight rest. The staff receives frequent praise for being exceptionally friendly, helpful, and providing a warm welcome. The sanitary facilities are a standout feature, consistently described as modern, spotless, and well-maintained with several recent upgrades. Guests appreciate the on-site pizza and beer, which are described as delicious and reliable year after year. During the day, guests can easily access the lakeside resort next to Chiemsee for additional activities like cycling. The surrounding region is noted for its beautiful Bavarian scenery, adding a positive element. However, the location is compromised by extreme proximity to busy roads and a motorway, resulting in constant traffic noise that many find intrusive. The pitches are not individually marked, forming a large open area that some liken to a parking lot where vehicles and tents are placed closely together.
