Nestled in a scenic area with mountains, forests, and hiking trails, this campsite is a haven for those seeking pure tranquility. The atmosphere is genuine and family-run, with pitches set in absolute quiet for an ideal unwinding experience. Guests enjoy a trust-based system for bread rolls and self-registration, with the occasional bonus of fresh eggs from free-range chickens. The on-site restaurant, run by the owner's daughter, serves excellent food including organic meats, and is reliably busy. Sanitary facilities are kept clean and well-maintained, with both an older main building and a new block on the Alm area. Showers are free of charge, and thoughtful touches like sanitary products and dishwashing supplies are appreciated. Pitches are spacious, quiet, and set on a large meadow with shade from tall greenery. The site offers a wonderful playground with a separate area for younger children, making it suitable for families with kids aged 6 to 14. Dogs are welcome, and the eco-conscious practices enhance the countryside charm. Guests can step directly onto wonderful cycling and walking trails, with the spa town of Bad Pyrmont a 10-minute bike ride or pleasant walk away. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the site, adding convenience for those who need to stay connected. A small library, laundry with washer and dryer, and a table tennis room round out the amenities. Some motorhome pitches are particularly well-regarded, and guests are free to choose their own spot upon arrival. The surrounding area offers beautiful walks and nearby swimming pools, while the campsite itself maintains a rustic charm with a fire pit. Many visitors return year after year, drawn by the heartfelt welcome and relaxed, uncomplicated vibe.
