This lakeside campsite consistently impresses with its welcoming atmosphere, thanks to an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who are frequently singled out for praise. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is a standout feature, with toilets and showers maintained to a high standard that guests appreciate year after year. Generously sized pitches provide ample room for campers, allowing for a comfortable and uncrowded stay. The location is a major draw, offering superb access to the lake for swimming, stand-up paddling, and cycling adventures. On-site, the shop earns top marks for its offerings, and the restaurant serves tasty meals, though language barriers with waitstaff can occasionally lead to order mix-ups. However, the experience is marred by significant drawbacks. The Wi-Fi service is a persistent frustration, costing 20 euros per week per device yet failing to work at any pitch location, an issue that remains unresolved. Women's showers are too few, causing long queues during peak hours, and shower quality generally receives mediocre reviews. Despite a clean and friendly appearance, hygiene protocols regarding masks are largely ignored outside the shop, casting doubt on the overall health concept. Given the high prices, many feel the experience falls short of expectations set by glowing online reviews. Some facilities were temporarily closed during the pandemic, such as the main washroom block, adding to occasional inconvenience. At best, this is a pleasant lakeside retreat with excellent staff and cleanliness, but significant service shortcomings and poor value for money may leave campers wanting more.
