Camping Zwinzicht is a charming campsite located in the peaceful village of Harich, in the heart of the Frisian countryside. The campsite offers a traditional camping experience with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It features clearly marked touring pitches, most of which are spacious, ranging from 100 to 100 square meters. Some pitches are fully exposed to the sun, while others enjoy partial shade from natural vegetation, giving guests options depending on their preference. For those without their own tent, the campsite offers rental accommodations, including tents and a small cabin. The site is inspected annually by the ACSI organization, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. An ACSI inspector visits each year to check over 200 facilities and service points, and the current inspector, Ms M.B.T.C. Vermeer-Lingers, personally oversees this campsite. Camping Zwinzicht operates seasonally from mid-April to mid-September, making it a perfect summer getaway. The terrain covers 2 hectares, providing ample space for 25 touring pitches, 2 permanent annual pitches, and 1 motorhome pitch. There is also one rental accommodation unit available. The campsite is considered suitable for guests with disabilities, offering accessible facilities. It is not a naturist campsite, so it maintains a family-friendly environment. The guide prices are reasonable, with a basic pitch costing around €28 per night and a premium pitch at €38. Guests can enjoy the surrounding nature, including nearby lakes and forests, ideal for hiking and cycling. The Friesian region is known for its cultural heritage, with charming villages and historic sites to explore. The campsite is fully prepared to welcome international travelers, with English-speaking staff and multilingual information. Overall, Camping Zwinzicht provides a safe, clean, and well-maintained base for exploring the northern Netherlands.
