In 2021 and 2022, guests appreciated the spacious, shaded pitches with lovely views and the well-maintained grounds and sanitary facilities. A small on-site shop operates on an honor system, which was positively received. The family-friendly atmosphere includes opportunities for cycling along the river and free local public transport. A cultural highlight in 2022 was a concert by the local fanfare in traditional costumes. However, the 2023 experience was highly negative, with unfriendly and unhelpful reception staff, a tense atmosphere upon arrival, and no opportunity to view the pitch before booking. Amenities like the water tap were poorly labeled and not for drinking, and the sanitary block required climbing stairs with a freezer filled with garbage. Overall, the campsite can be a wonderful holiday destination with advance booking for a pitch with a view, but potential guests should be cautious about the steep road access and inconsistent management quality.
