This lakeside campsite has evolved over the years, consistently offering a prime location on the shores of Lake Constance. It serves as an excellent base for cycling and exploring the area, with easy access to public transport and cycling routes. The natural surroundings are a standout feature, providing a peaceful atmosphere and clean beach access. Guests appreciate the well-maintained grounds, though the nearby railway line causes minimal disturbance. It is advisable to choose a pitch with sufficient distance from the railway for optimal comfort. The on-site restaurant is highly recommended by visitors for its pleasant atmosphere. However, feedback is mixed regarding the staff, with some guests finding them friendly while others describe management as rude. The sanitary facilities are often described as older and showing signs of wear, with cleanliness being a recurring concern across multiple years. Showers are limited to two minutes and require payment, even for those with an ACSI card, which many find inconvenient and overpriced. Pitches can have hard or uneven gravel ground, requiring strong pegs, and some are very close to gray and black water dump stations. Privacy and pitch size have received mixed reviews. Evening entertainment is not offered in the off-season. Water usage requires coin payment for just two minutes of flow, which feels overpriced. The absence of dogs in earlier years contributed to tranquility, but no recent evidence confirms this policy. Overall, the campsite offers a beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway, but maintenance and customer service improvements would enhance the experience.
